F-106A Delta Dart 1/72 Die Cast Model 101st FIS, 102nd FIW, Massachusetts ANG, 1982  Replicating a Convair F-106A Delta Dart that - flown by the Massachusetts Air National Guard's 102nd Fighter Interceptor Wing - famously intercepted a Soviet Tu-95 Bear D bomber off Cape Cod on April 15, 1982, this newly tooled, 1/72 scale, die cast model features engraved panel lines, a detailed cockpit with an opening canopy and a removable pilot figure, a weapons bay with opening doors and missiles, wing-mounted fuel tanks, optional-position landing gear, and authentic 101st Fighter Interceptor Squadron markings, including an Outstanding Unit award and a "Massachusetts" flash on the vertical stabilizer.
