Aircraft Art World War II
This print captures the busy atmosphere of a Luftwaffe fighter station on
the Russian Front. It is February 1943, with deep snow and freezing
temperatures, as Leutnant Walter Nowotny, Staffelkapit? of 1./JG 54, taxis
"White One." With their temporary whitewash color scheme glinting in the
morning sun, the Fw 190A-4s pose a menacing spectacle as they take to the
air. 37"x 25?" limited edition print is signed and numbered by the artist
and three Luftwaffe Aces from JG 54.

Long Nose
Trouble
Stan Stokes. Print depicts the
high altitude version of the Fw 190 that had an in-line,
water-cooled engine allowing it to fight at over 450 mph at
22,000 feet. This Fw 190D was also known as "Long Nose" or
"Dora" because of its streamlined fuselage, extended over
40" to accommodate the change from radial to in-line engine.
On this day, it chases off a P-51 Mustang as an Me 262 takes
to the skies. Limited edition 16"x 11?" print is signed and
numbered by the artist.

A Novel ConceptStan Stokes.
Precursors to today's cruise missiles, Mistels were
composed of unmanned, obsolete Ju 88 bombers fitted with a huge warhead and
a rudimentary guidance system. Coupled to either a Bf 109 or Fw 190, the
fighter pilot flew the combination to within a reasonable distance of its
target and then jettisoned the bomber. 16"x 11?" signed and numbered
