Pictures of the Peters Creek Community Park in Peters Creek Alaska.

This is the entrance to Peters Creek Community Park Alaska.  The park is located north of Anchorage with only about a half hour drive.  It took me more than five hours to get this far because I stopped in Eagle River and every place that I could stop and look around.  These pictures were taken at the very last of September and you can see that the trees in the background have all turned to a bright golden yellow.  Everything was just beautiful.  Before I left Illinois, everyone said that the leaves would be off of the trees and it would be a rainy and dismal place.  On this drive I did indeed run into patches of rain as the clouds came in off of the bay.  Take a look at the background of the pictures and you will see that there was a low level of white overcast clouds.  When the clouds cleared, there are beautiful mountains in the background.  This place is absolutely beautiful and I want to go back again and again.
