| Before you can go anywhere, you must
load the planes. On an expedition we are changing from plane to plane.
As we move from airport to airport and our gear must make these plane changes
too. It's a good idea to carry your personal gear in your camera
bag. e.g. toothpaste, tooth brush, aspirin, comb, deodorant,
several candy bars, a couple of heat packs, etc. I guess you get
the point. The reason for this is sometimes you are separated from
your luggage and all you have is your camera bag with you. In a survival
situation you will need any survival equipment that you can get, so carrying it
in your camera bag can a big difference in an emergency. These photos show
many places where this survival equipment can make the difference between life
or death.
