Steff paints her F-16 Falcon Airplane Model

Steff gets a chance to paint her F-16 and her body as well.   After watching "Iron Eagle,"  we built some inexpensive wooden Falcon models.  Each kid painted their airplanes different.  We learned that the water clean-up paints were the best, as you can see why.  Building the models after watching the movie gave some excitement to the model building.  The kids pretended they were pilots and the painting and building experience was their mission and not a job. 

Click Here the kids learned about aircraft components, construction techniques, paints, and blueprint reading.  The plans for these kits weren't as good as the plastic models so there was a lot of experimenting on how to put these together, a little bit of home engineering was required.
