How about a little skydiving while you're at the North Pole.

We had Six skydivers on this trip, four actual chutes, two of which had tandem jumps.  One skydiver, Thomas Trautmann, made the worlds first Wing Suit jump.  He jumped from 10,000 feet, flew around all of the lines of longitude, then pulled the ripcord.  This is in a sense flying around the world in a single skydive.  The tandem jumpers were Joy Trent from New Jersey who jumped with Mikhail Rybochkin from Russia and Max Dillinger from Austria who jumped with Sergey Insarov.

Look Here to see the practice session in the Khatanga Hotel

Here's some info on Thomas Trautman
* 1021 jumps
* Started skydiving in France in 1987
* 7 years of 4 way relative work competition
* Relative Work instructor
* First WingSuit jump in Ireland (February 2001)
* First WingSuit jump over the North Pole (April 2002)
