Aerial Photo of the Island of Ie Shima, Year 2000, Y2K, Western Pacific.

I love this shot.  Ie Shima is a beautiful little island located near Okinawa.  The islanders have their fields, some plowed and some with bright green crops growing, giving the island a beautiful checkerboard pattern.  This photo of Ie Shima was taken by Lt. Andrew Lockett in the year 2000.
