hull as
sample
which ahs
a missile launcher
the
sample
has
a mount

witch is
a
vintage
5"38 single
mt..
The
picture
of the

was
taken
from the Carrier
U.S.S. Kitty
hawk while
unreping
(refueling )

This is a 5" gun on a destroyer.If anyone can tell me more about this gun or any of the equipment that you see in this photo, send me e-mailHaving served on the USS Nicholas (DD-449),
it would appear to be the 51
mount on the bow of a Fletcher (DD-445)class
destroyer.
