Soviet Sukhoi Jet Fighters, Aircraft
Model Kits, Diecast Models,
From the Soviet Sukhoi delta-winged T-3 development
aircraft of 1955; through the Su-9 and Su-11, the fastest and highest-flying
Soviet jet fighter interceptors of the 1960s and the Su-15, a key element of the
Soviet Air Defense Force well into the 1980s; to the peerless Su-27. The Fencer, with its distinctive three-position variable-geometry wings, is the
Soviet counterpart to the American F-111, though somewhat smaller and lighter,
and to a lesser extent the Tornado. Its origins certainly owed a lot to Soviet
observation of the American TFX competition and the resulting swing-wing
variable-geometry solutions. First flown in 1971, it entered service from 1974
as a replacement for the Yak-28 and remains an important part of the Russian VVS
inventory. Another Soviet Aircraft the Su-34 is
going to be the most advanced Russian fighter-bomber for close air support. It
combines superior maneuverability and speed with a high payload capacity
and excellent range. You can find Soviet jet fighter model aircraft kits,
diecast models, aircraft books, Russian aircraft DVD movies and Jet Fighter
videos right here. |

Sukhoi Interceptors. Red Star Volume 16 From the Webmaster: Take a look at the name of the fighter shown here. It says Cy-35, but is that the way it is really pronounced? You must know that this is written in Russian not in English. A "C" in Russian is pronuced as "S" and the "y" is pronounced as "oo" We, in English speaking countries pronounce the name of the plane as the Su-35. I want to make this clear since I watched a documentary maker pronounce the An-74 as an AH-74, since in English that is exactly what was written on the side of the airplane. However, in this case, the "H" in Russian is pronounced as an "N" or the An-74.

Sukhoi Su-24 Fencer.. |
|
Book Description The Fencer, with its distinctive three-position variable-geometry wings, is the Soviet counterpart to the American F-111, though somewhat smaller and lighter, and to a lesser extent the Tornado. Its origins certainly owed a lot to Soviet observation of the American TFX competition and the resulting swing-wing variable-geometry solutions. First flown in 1971, it entered service from 1974 as a replacement for the Yak-28 and remains an important part of the Russian VVS inventory, with several hundred having been in service. It is able to carry a wide range of air-to-surface missiles and is capable of carrying out precision attacks in hostile airspace at night or during poor weather. Much larger and more capable than previous Soviet aircraft, it combines great penetrative ability with a heavy and varied bomb load, but is such a versatile airframe that it has also been developed in various other versions including tactical bomber, electronic warfare, and reconnaissance. As usual with the Aerofax series, this book includes extensive detail of systems, equipment, weapons, etc., and a plethora of previously unpublished photographs and drawings. |
Sukhoi Su-25 Frogfoot.. |
|
Sukhoi Su-25 Frogfoot The Soviet Union's Tank-Buster Gordon. Known in the West by its NATO codename "Frogfoot," the Su-25 twin-engine jet was designed in the 1970s to provide close air support for Soviet ground forces. This heavily illustrated book details the development history and combat career of the Su-25 including variants such as the Su-25TM. 176 pages, 300 B&W and color photographs, 8"x 10", softcover. |
|
Sukhoi Su-25 Frogfoot Sorry their are no Frogfoot models available at this time Developed during the 1970s with its combat debut during the Afghanistan conflict, the Su-25 fills the same anti-tank role for Russia as does the A-10 Thunderbolt for the U.S. Plastic kit is 8½" in length; assembly required. Webmasters Note: One of the educational channel programs had a film where a group of American Pilots brought their planes to Russia and took turns flying each others aircraft. Most of the young American pilots weren't interested in flying this homely Frogfoot thinking who wants to fly this when they have all of these other super sharp jet fighters flying. An older American Pilot, however, took the Frogfoot up for a ride and much to his surprise it was a very fast, nimble machine. After this pilots tales, all the American pilots were fighting to get the chance to fly it. This doesn't look like a supersonic aircraft, but they were able to get to break the sound barrier. Try that in an American A-10. It appears that this plane will kick butt on the A-10. C. Jeff Dyrek |

Su-34. |
Designed by the Sukhoi Design Bureau, the Su-34s
will replace the Su-24 Fencer frontline bombers. Experts said the new bomber has
the potential to become the best plane in its class for years to come.
The 36 million Su-34 fighter-bomber is a two-seat strike aircraft equipped with
twin AL-31MF afterburning turbojet engines. It is designed to deliver
high-precision strikes on heavily-defended targets under any weather conditions,
day or night, and fields weaponry that includes a 30mm GSh-301 cannon, up to 12
Alamo or Archer AAMs, ASMs, and bombs. The first serial-production Su-34
has been procured by the Defense Ministry and will soon be deployed at the
Lipetsk pilot training center for practical training of military pilots.
The Su-34's performance is well-known: its takeoff weight of 39 metric tons; maximum speed of 1,900 km/h near the ceiling and 1,400 km/h near the ground; operational range of 4,000 km without refueling and unlimited range with in-flight refueling ; 30mm built-in cannon and bombs and missiles of all kinds; all-weapon, all-weather day-and-night capability against any, including pinpoint, surface targets; and a host of other features make it a truly formidable machine. The use of advanced munitions, with satellite-guided bombs that successfully completed tests last summer, makes the new aircraft uniquely useful in counterterrorist as well as conventional warfare. The new fighter-bombers will be powered by high-thrust Salyut AL-31F-M1 engines. The engine's already increased thrust will be increased to 14 metric tons. Produced by the NAPO (the Chkalov Novosibirsk Aircraft Producing Association), |

These are pictures of a model Sukhoi SU-35 that I bought
while I was in Moscow Russia in 2002. on a picture to see a larger
view, The model is a 1/72 Scale model airplane. You will not be able
to buy this model, but I just wanted everyone to see what it looked like.
The box is beautiful, but it was damaged in transit back home, but the model was
not damaged. I will not build the model because I'm sending it to my
friend in Mexico who has build 3120+ models.

When I went to the toy store in Moscow, it was absolutely fantastic. The had tons of models, more models than any store that I have ever seen in the United States. In fact most big toy stores in the U.S. don't even sell models anymore or they have just part of an isle with a few models.
When Kids build models they learn. They learn about mechanical engineering, aeronautical engineering, tactile skills, aviation aircraft types, aviation history, the use of glues, modeling knives, paints and decals. Kids learn a whole lot. Also when you look at the plans, these are blueprints. Kids learn to read complex instructions and blueprints.
Look at the complexity of these parts. As a kid puts
this airplane together, he has to think very hard. The kids train their
brains at an early age to be able to figure out complex problems. These
models came from Russia. Their toy store had tons of models. Their store
had a lot of kids looking at the models.
Kids in America don't build models, they build parties, they watch porn and play filthy, violent video games. Not all kids, but this it the majority. If you don't believe me, just look at our TV or just read the TV guides. Every station plays commercials talking about your erection, shows women with no clothes on, just not showing the particulars. We are teaching our kids violence, sex, drugs, and hate, not things that make a better future for our country. Which country has the better chance for a better future, not America. I'm telling you the truth. Are we going to change it? Not a chance! C. Jeff Dyrek. |
