North Pole Travel and Global Warming, What it Means to You

More about the life in Khatanga.
This is another shop just across the court.  The girl here is named Yuliya.  She's very smart and very pretty too.   She's a great example of the need to learn attitude because that's what she likes to do.  She is also very independent and likes to do things herself which is another reason that she's so smart.  After talking to her many times, I learned a lot about Khatanga, Russian people and her.  First of all, she's presently studying C++ and JavaScript programming languages, also, she has built her own computer from the ground up.  Yuliya works in this store as one job and works at the airport as a meteorologist for her other job.

I spoke with Yuliya about her education, as it was obvious that she was well educated.   Some things were difficult for me to understand because her English wasn't too good so I cannot tell exactly how their educational system sets up the division between different age groups of students.    One thing that I remember was that Yuliya studied ballet six days a week and four or more hours each day for eleven years.  After getting to know her I knew that she was telling the truth and never exaggerated about these things.   One day after heavy study and many test, she went to ballet practice while she was very tired.   Yuliya's instructor was having her do spins, standing way up on one toe.  Being tired made Yuliya's balance difficult and she fell into the orchestra landing on a music stand.  The music stand punctured her leg and cut some tendons along with breaking her leg.   This was very bad news, Yuliya had to stay a whole month in traction and another year for the leg to properly heal.  She never took up ballet again, but I did get to see her practice a little while she showed me some special ballet maneuvers.
