This looks like a cold mountain pass but all of the snow can fool you.  The temperature was still below freezing but because of our snowmobile suits the entire trip was quite warm.  I had heaters in my handle grips and I had to shut that off because my hands were just too warm.  The tour guide made me wear mittens but my gloves, the ones that I wear at the North Pole were actually much warmer than these cotton filled mittens.  As our drive continued through this mountain pass on Spitsbergen, the pass got narrower and narrower.
