Jet Fighters Motorcycles NASCAR Ships Spacecraft Tanks Trains Scale Model Airplanes of the French Dassault Mirage 2000 fighter jets plus pictures of fighter jets.  These are highly detailed scale models replicating the real jet fighter aircraft of the French Mirage 2000 Fighter Jets.  Scale Plastic Model Airplane Kits and DieCast Model Airplanes.  Mirage 2000's first flight was on March 10th, 1978 as a high flying interceptor.  The Mirage has a wingspan of 9.13 Meters, a length of 14.36 Meters, height of 5.2 Meters, an Empty Weight of 7500 kg, a Maximum Takeoff Weight of 16,000 kg.  The Mirage can takeoff in 1650 ft and land in 2000 feet.  The Mirage 2000 has a maximum ceiling of 57,500 ft at Mach 1.8.   This outperforms the F-16 Falcon with a max of 49,500 and the F-18 Hornet that has a max ceiling of 54,500 ft but at only Mach 1.4.  These specs were all for full power operation.
