| This Airport Control Tower may be one of the pre-designed types found all over the world in WW2. The design was constant allowing for standardized shipping, components and the builders knew exactly what they were doing with a lot of the plans to their memories. |

Jack's Unusual Design Stokes. Aviation Art Jack Northrop devoted much of his design efforts to developing tailless aircraft. The XB-35 and jet-powered YB-49 shown here represent the culmination of Jack's efforts. While neither entered production, note the similarity to today's B-2 bomber.
