0011152 Camouflage and Markings of the
Aeronautica Nazionale Repubbllicana 1944-45 The Camouflage & Markings of the Aeronautica
Nazionale Repubblicana: 1944-45, D'Amico & Valentini. This book examines the
camouflage and markings of the Aeronautica Nationale Repubblicana (ANR), the
fascist air force formed following the wake of Italy's capitulation to the
Allies in 1943. Fighting with the Luftwaffe, the ANR was equipped with the
German Bf 109 as well as Italian fighters, bombers, torpedo and transport
aircraft - all of which are reviewed here with previously unpublished
photographs showing the camouflage and system markings by unit. 224 pages,
450 B&W photographs plus 40 color artworks, 9"x 12", hardcover. From the Webmaster. This
sounds like a very interesting book. All of a sudden, the Allies
were fighting the Germans with the Bf 109 German Built Airplanes.
If anyone has read this book or any other book about this subject,
please tell me more about this.
