Dear Daddy,

Ed just got a cablegram saying "Son Born" He's mighty happy & says he is to be named James Edward Alleman Jr.

James Edward Alleman, Jr., is the four-month-old son of Mrs. Genevieve Alleman of 1728 12th street and the late Lt. james Edward Alleman, who was killed on a mission over Germany on November 5, 1944, less than a month after the birth of his child whom he never waw.  The baby is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. T. E. Alleman of 1026 Lee avenue and Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Posey of 1728 12th street.
