The kids really liked the static displays outside the main gate.

Here the were able to read about the history of the 183rd fighter squadron and see all of the jets that were used by the squadron in the past.  These jets are very large compared to what they looked like in the movies and the models that these kids have built.   Viewing these aircraft is an education in itself.
