Amtrak 410 East.
Linda McCray. Great Northern's famous
Empire Builder passenger train lives on under the Amtrak
flag. This handsome print shows Amtrak's Empire Builder #410
led by a F40PH locomotive as it approaches the Glacier
Station in Montana. Each print is hand water colored - so no
two are exactly alike - and is signed by the artist. 10"x 7"
print comes mounted in a 14"x 11" matte.

The Rainbow.
Larry Fisher. In 1973, the
Amtrak version of Great Northern's famous Empire Builder
was a mixture of Northern Pacific, Great Northern and
Burlington Northern passenger cars. The "Builder" is a
rainbow of color as she crosses Surprise Creek after
emerging from the west portal of the Cascade Tunnel at
Scenic, Washington. Limited edition print measures 17½"x
26½" and is signed and numbered by the artist.

Moonlight Serenade.

Robert West. A father and son watch
from a safe distance as Amtrak GG1 #4901 double heads a
passenger train beneath a moonlit sky near New Carrollton,
Maryland, in the winter of 1971. The 230-ton locomotive was
allowed to reach speeds of 110 miles per hour on this
stretch of track. 14"x 20½" print is signed by the artist.
