Yes, a lot of companies wouldn't want to make a production that was just put
on TV. But, do you remember the gimmick? They do not want the make the
same old movie, but they would like to make a new movie on the follow-up.
This would briefly shot the war, however, it would show you and Marino
Meting and walking the old escape path after his crash.
But this is why we need to get Mariano going into this. A name like, "When
Enemies Become Friends", would be an interesting name that is not a rehash
of the old videos produced last year. This is why we need to possibly hold
off on the release for a production.
We need to contact Mariano and talk him into working with us. Imagine this
scenario for a film. Videos of the war and his plane going down, you get to
see his airplane sinking the Coventry. A couple of days later, you shoot
him down. The video goes into your feeling sorry, later in life, about
killing a man. Then the History Channel program comes out. You make
contact with him. He sends a letter that says "We were just doing our
jobs". This would be interesting. It's building up to a big change.
Now, instead of a coverage of the war film and a look back into history. It
would go from the history film to an adventure film. You would show
pictures of you getting excited in England, You would talk to him on the
phone and then head out of the airport to the other side of the world.
You now arrive in a new land. A place where you don't understand the
language. :You would see shots of Buenos Aries from the air as you land,
you would go through the airport and then into the foothills of Argentina.
The trip is just starting. You guys talk and talk about how your missions
and experiences were and how you feel today.
You go to the Museum and then the Air Base. He tells you how they worked as
a team. He or another pilot takes you up in a TA-4 for a jet fighter ride
and get the feel what it's like to be in his position. When that's done!
The whole film crew jumps on the ship and feels the waves as they spray over
the deck. They feel what it's like to be out to sea, and Mariano feels this
too. You're an old salt and have felt this before so now you and Mariano,
in a way, change roles. You are now the experienced person.
You sail to Port Stanley. You look at the bomb craters and look at the
airport today. The film flashes to the A-4 getting hit and going over the
hill. You ride to see his crashed airplane and hand some parts to Mariano
as a gift.
Mariano tells about the ejection and the ejection then the landing. He
tells about twisting his ankle. Then you and him walk all the way to where
he was picked up by Kelpers and are picked up again. Mariano gets back to
his troops and then rides the ship back to Buenos Aries.
The whole film crew jumps on the ship and feels the waves as they spray

You see Mariano off and then you go back home and show the remaining
pictures of the Intrepid and visit with the Intrepid society. They all
tell their stories and then all receive a certificate and a big thanks
from the Queen. Then the Queen ends the project with a thanks to the
whole crew and talks about how they served their country, then thank the
soldiers of Argentina, because they did their job too. The diplomatic
idea of how this ends needs some thought in order to show that every
person was a hero, on both sides and pick up the spirits of both sides.
We need to work on this story a while and get our ideas together and
then get the basic permissions from Mariano saying that he would like to
do this himself. And, from the Intrepid Society.
Once this is done, then we can approach the production companies. We
can send them real nice PDF files with a title letter in the email "When
Enemies Become Friends".
