Brent Weigner - USA

To date, he has run in excess of 120 marathons
and ultras. Brent completed marathons in all 50 states and
   Washington, D.C., on January 18th, 1998. On October 11th, 1998,
he completed marathons in all the Canadian provinces and
   territories.

Most notably, however, on July 27, 1999, Brent became the first
person in the world to run an ultra marathon on all seven
continents. With his entry to the North Pole Marathon, he now
hopes to be the first person to complete an ultra Grand Slam by
finishing the 50k option at the Pole. A vastly experienced traveler,
he has competed in races in 84 countries and has a marathon PB
of 2.45. Among his most recent ultra adventure races have been
the 150-mile Marathon des Sables through the Sahara Desert, the
104-mile Jordan Desert Cup, the Mt. Kilimanjaro 50k and the
   South Pole 45k in Antarctica.
