This appears to be an electronic repair shop,
but I'm not sure.

One of the interesting and very secret electronic devices on the P-47 Thunderbolt was a rear looking radar system.  I just found out about this from a friend in my EAA Chapter that flew the P-47 during the war.  This radar system wasn't like the one that you would think of with a scope that showed a picture with a sweeping beam.  Instead, it gave a tone in the pilots headset when an airplane approached its tail.  This is a fact that I have never read about, anywhere.   If anyone knows more about this system, please send me email at the bottom of this page.
