Lockheed
Constellation & Super Constellation
by Scott E. Germain
Book Description
Includes engineering drawings, huge radical engines, cockpit layouts,
and wing and fuselage structures of one of the most beautiful airliners
ever built.
The author, Scott E. Germain AeroServ@aol.com , May 23, 1999 Airline
Pilot / Author Notes on the Lockheed Connie Writing Volume One of
Airliner Tech - The Lockheed Constellation and Super Constellation was
a very rewarding experience for me, as it was my first book. It's
an interesting read, due to the fact that the manufacturer - Lockheed -
was unable to provide much help. 95% of the material here is from
a source other than the maker. Hopefully, this will provide readers with
a keen insight to the Connie.
Readers will find many photos by William T. Larkins that have never
been published before |

Lockheed
Constellation : A Pictorial History
by Curtis K. Stringfellow,
The author, Curtis K. Stringfellow / txstring@aol.com , June 10, 1997
A lot of hard work. The Lockheed Constellation is Motorbooks International's
first commercial aviation book and has remained their #1 seller for the
past 5 years. Tremendous research went into this book with the result
being a very highly rated book which has just gone into it's 2nd reprint.
I hope you all enjoy the book and if you would like me to sign your
copy, just e-mail me and I'll tell you where to send it. |
